PRINCIPAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Zach Jones

BA(Theatre/Media)(Hons), BA(Psych.)(Hons), MTeach, MEd.L, DCA

Zach is a registered psychologist, and completed his psychological training at the University of New England. He has a wide range of experience including working with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disabilities, as well as couples therapy. 

Zach has previously worked as a university lecturer and researcher, teacher and gymnastics coach. He is a published novelist and completed a doctorate in creative writing at The University of the Sunshine Coast. He spends his free time making up stories and cooking with too much chilli.

PSYCHOLOGIST

Chrissy Bell

BA(Ed ), BA(Psych.), DipEd, GradDip(SpecEd), GradDip(Psych.)

Chrissy is a registered psychologist with over 15 years’ experience counselling young people and families. She completed her psychological training at Macquarie University and Charles Sturt University. She has a wide range of experience, including counselling for grief, anxiety and self-harm, and working with young people with complex behaviours and disabilities. Chrissy has previously worked as a teacher and school counsellor. She enjoys time with her children, tie-dyeing, and adding colour to her life, and others.

SOCIAL WORKER/ COUNSELLOR

Lydia Taylor

BSW (Hons)

Lydia trained in social work and previously worked for DCJ in child safety, working with a number of children in out of home care, as well as children who have experienced trauma or are at risk of harm. Her current caseload includes working with individuals with disabilities including autism spectrum disorders and FASD, working especially on behavioural strategies for self-regulation, social skills, anxiety management and problem-solving training to improve responses to daily challenges. Lydia loves a good op-shop and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

ASSESSMENT PSYCHOLOGIST (PROVISIONAL)

Bree Dahl

BPsych (Hons)

Bree is a Provisional Psychologist at Dauntless Psychology. Her passion is working with people with disability and helping to improve their wellbeing. She also works as a Behaviour Support Practitioner in the Clarence/Coffs region and is a Teaching Assistant for the University of New England’s School of Psychology. Her previous work includes psychological research around the positive effects of music therapy for people living with dementia with Macquarie University.  Bree lives in Grafton and is fan of gardening, the beach, and spending time with her family.

BEHAVIOURAL THERAPIST

Aneeka Jones

BTeach/BPDHE, MEd.L, GradDipPsych

Aneeka comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She has worked with children and adolescents from pre-school to Year 12 within the schooling system for 17 years, specialising in working with young people with additional needs and disabilities. Aneeka has completed post-graduate qualifications in psychology and is a registered member of the Association for Behaviour Analysis, Australia. She enjoys watching her kids play sport, long drives with the family, and has an interest in sport psychology.
